Kenko Talks returns virtually: Practical tips to improve daily life under the pandemic
Nikkei Seniors Health Care and Housing Society is bringing back its “Kenko Talks”, a series of educational seminars to discuss important topics and issues facing today’s seniors. Since its launch in 2018, the series has addressed a number of topics about health care and planning for the future as we age.
This year’s series of lectures focuses on our current health crisis, the coronavirus pandemic.
Over 5 sessions, we will share practical tips and information to improve the daily lives under the COVID pandemic. These presentations will explain how to prevent infection, the efficacy of vaccines, and the symptoms (secondary health problems) that may occur in the mind and body due to the prolonged spread of COVID19 infection. We all face numerous hindrances in our daily lives as a result of the pandemic and we hope to provide you with tools and tips to overcome them.
The presentations will be in English and Japanese languages and will be held virtually through ZOOM on Friday afternoons from October to December. Everyone is welcome to attend, free of charge.
Early registration is recommended as there is a limit of 25 people per session.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the lectures!
