Japan Training Squadron Visit to Victoria, NSHCHS Leadership Attends

Two ships from Japan Training Squadron, “JS Kashima” and “JS Hatakaze” of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) made a friendly port call on June 15, 2023, to Esquimalt, Victoria for the purpose of overseas training and international goodwill between Japan and Canada.

On this occasion, Jay Haraga, Executive Director of Nikkei Seniors Health Care & Housing Society, and Ruth Coles, Past President of the Board, met with Consul General Maruyama, and Ambassador Yamanouchi.
