Your safety and well-being are our top priorities, and we\u00a0appreciate your cooperation in following the guidelines outlined below:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:26px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Power Outages:\u00a0\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Notification:<\/strong> In a power outage, we will make every effort to\u00a0inform residents promptly. Please be careful of your surroundings,\u00a0avoid falling, and pay attention to announcements via our staff or\u00a0other communication channels.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Emergency Lighting:<\/strong> Our facility is equipped with emergency\u00a0lighting systems to comply with the fire code and annual\u00a0inspections. Also, we installed over 25 enhanced emergency lighting packs, which last up to 24-30 hours to provide\u00a0illumination during power outages. Familiarize yourself with the\u00a0location of emergency exit signs and paths.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reporting Issues: <\/strong>If you experience any issues related to the\u00a0power outage, such as malfunctioning emergency lighting or\u00a0electrical problems in your room, please report them immediately\u00a0to any staff on duty.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:26px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Emergency Procedures:\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Stay Calm:<\/strong> In the event of a power outage or any emergency,\u00a0remain calm, stay in your suite, and wait for a staff member to give\u00a0you directions and support. Our staff are trained to handle such\u00a0situations, and your cooperation is essential for a swift and orderly\u00a0response.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Communication: <\/strong>Keep communication devices charged (i.e. Cell Phones, Ipads, Tablets, etc) and have a flashlight or battery-powered lantern readily available in an easily accessible place.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Evacuation Procedures: <\/strong>Staff will give directions, follow the designated evacuation routes and gather at the specified assembly refuse points if necessary. Do not use elevators during an evacuation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Emergency Kits:<\/strong> Consider preparing a small emergency kit with essentials such as a flashlight, extra batteries, a blanket, charging packs, and any necessary medications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Information Updates:<\/strong> Stay informed about the situation by listening to announcements or consulting with staff members. Regular updates will be provided to keep you and your family members informed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><br>We have consulted many professionals about a Power Generator option for the building and, at this time, found that it is not feasible due to electrical complexities, open space for exhaust\/fumes, and load restrictions on our roof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Your cooperation and adherence to these procedures are crucial for maintaining a safe living environment for everyone.
