Remembrance Day, observed on Nov 11, is a day to pay\u00a0our respects to those who have served our country. In recognition of this\u00a0important day, we have scheduled a day off for our administrative office on Monday, Nov 13, which will serve as a statutory holiday in lieu of\u00a0Remembrance Day.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Office Closure Details:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Date: <\/strong>Monday, Nov 13, 2023\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reason: <\/strong>Statutory holiday in lieu of Remembrance Day\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Impact: <\/strong>The administrative office will be closed, and standard office\u00a0 operations will resume on Tuesday, Nov 14, 2023\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>While the administrative office will be closed on Nov 13, we understand that\u00a0essential employees (Care Team\/Food Service\/Housekeeping) still need to\u00a0work on that day due to the nature of their roles. Activities will be cancelled\u00a0on Saturday, Nov 11 and Monday, Nov 13. In such cases, we encourage\u00a0 residents to communicate with department leaders for any questions.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Nov 11, we encourage everyone to take a moment to remember and reflect\u00a0on the significance of Remembrance Day. It is a time to honor our veterans&#8217;\u00a0and current military personnel&#8217;s courage, dedication, and sacrifices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Other Information about Nimi Nikkei Home:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are planning our Annual Christmas Party event on Dec 4 for our Residents at Nimi Nikkei Home and Tenants of New Sakura so. We are\u00a0looking for volunteers to help support and join us for a family-style meal\u00a0 service and get residents to the Nikkei Centre Hayashi Hall, where the venue\u00a0is being held.
