As we head into the fall season, the weather is cooling down, and the autumn leaves are starting to change. We celebrated Robert Nimi Nikkei Home’s 20th-anniversary Luncheon this past Saturday. With staff, residents, family members, volunteers and community members all contributing to this milestone. Thank you! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Here are a few updates. <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  • Voting for the City of Burnaby.<\/strong> Mail-in ballot registration is due this Thursday, Sept 22nd, by noon. If you are interested, please email Yoko Watase at ywatase@nikkeishc.com. <\/li>
  • Fall booster clinics<\/strong> for Covid and Flu immunizations will be happening soon. Fraser Health Authority will be contacting us, and we will be sending consent letters shortly afterwards. We will keep you posted as to our clinic date and key contacts. <\/li>
  • Administration will be closed on Sept 30th<\/strong> for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. For emergencies, don’t hesitate to contact our Team Leader on Duty, that can be reached at teamleader@nikkeishc.com or by calling 604-777-5000 ext. 2001. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    I have had many of you reach out asking what you can do for the staff to say thank you for the care your loved one receive here at Nimi Nikkei Home. We will post your messages\/cards and emails on our staff board so they know you are thinking of them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
