Ken Shinozaki is a long-term donor<\/strong> of Nikkei Place, giving to both Nikkei Seniors Health Care and Housing Society (NSHCHS) and Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre<\/a> (NNMCC). <\/span><\/p>\n

For over 10 years, Ken has become connected to \u65e5\u7cfb\u30d7\u30ec\u30a4\u30b9<\/a> and the important work that each organization does to serve the community. Support from donors like Ken means NSHCHS can continue to fulfill it\u2019s ultimate mission \u2014 to provide supportive and independent housing, and care for seniors in our community. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ken was born in Tokyo, and became a permanent resident in Canada in 1978. He established an export company, which he ran for over 40 years before just recently retiring in 2020. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, skiing, fishing, and camping.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a senior himself, he was recently motivated to support Nikkei Seniors Health Care and Housing Society because the need to care for Nikkei seniors will \u201cnever stop and only increase in every way\u201d<\/em>, he says.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ken has great hope for NSHCHS, to be able to continue to \u201cnot only maintain current activities but further progress and extend the helping hands among ever increasing seniors\u201d<\/em>, he says.<\/span><\/p>\n
