Resident Services Update (Jan 15th)

Resident Services Update (Jan 15th)

Dear Residents and Families,

I hope everyone is coping well with the freezing weather over the weekend. We want to provide  an important update regarding the false fire alarm on Saturday, January 13th.

First and foremost, we want to assure you that everyone is safe and that there was no actual fire  or threat to your safety. The alarm was triggered due to a technical malfunction, and our maintenance team has been working diligently to address and resolve the issue.

Here are some key points to be aware of:

  1. False Alarm Cause: The false fire alarm was caused by a technical glitch in the alarm  system sensor on the rooftop vents, and it was not related to any actual fire or emergency.
  2. Maintenance & Management Response: Our management and maintenance team  promptly investigated and resolved the issue. We have identified the source of the problem and are implementing the necessary repairs to prevent a recurrence.
  3. Ongoing Monitoring/Fire Drills: We are implementing additional monitoring measures  to ensure the continued reliability of our fire alarm system. Regular inspections and testing will be conducted to maintain the highest safety standards. Also, we are setting up  monthly fire drills through the OHS committee.
  4. Communication Improvement: We understand the importance of timely and accurate  communication during such incidents. We reviewed our emergency/communication protocols to ensure that residents and their families are promptly informed about incidents and their feedback.

We apologize for any inconvenience or concern this incident may have caused. The safety and well-being of our residents are our top priorities, and we are committed to taking all necessary steps to prevent similar incidents in the future.

If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to get in touch with our management team at [email protected] or [email protected].

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
